Norwegian-based Noreq AS is specialising in the development and manufacture of lifesaving products.
At Noreq, we have always been driven by a desire to develop new and improved solutions for maritime equipment. The Torpedo lifeboat
The Torpedo lifeboat concept has already received a lot of attention and many people regard it as the lifeboat design of the future. The new Torpedo free-fall lifeboat, which has properties that no other free-fall lifeboat can match, has been fully tested in model scale by the Norwegian Marine Technology Research Institute; MarinTek. The results satisfy the new lifeboat requirements defined by the Norwegian Oil Industry Association OLF and confirm the following key properties:
